Wednesday was the Veterans Day holiday, which meant we had a free day to go play, mid-week. We drove north to Taos, continually amazed by the beautiful scenery that abounds in New Mexico. Our goal that day was the Devisadero Trail, reportedly one of the top hikes in the area.
Sure enough, the hike didn't disappoint. It had been a while since we'd done a longer hike like this one (clocking in at about 6.5 miles), so it was a good opportunity to stretch our legs.
It wasn't all hard work, though. We had a great trail lunch ...
And even got to take a relaxing break at the top of Devisadero Peak. Thanks to Nathan for this picture!
